Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death from unintentional injury in the United States.  To help ensure your child's safety while traveling by car, the Center for Childhood Safety and SAFE KIDS Greater Green Bay host monthly check-up events at area car dealerships and local businesses.

During the inspection, which averages approximately 30-45 minutes, specially trained technicians work with parents to identify and correct potential problems.
When attending a check-up event, it is best to have your child with you. Seats are assessed for: age, proper fit of your child in the seat, proper fit of the seat in the vehicle, recalls and structural integrity.

Monthly checks are held free of charge. If you require a more immediate car seat check at the CCS office, an appointment may be made for a fee of $20.
